What CF movements do you like? Squats, Cleans, Pullups, T2B, Burpees
What CF movements do you dislike? Snatches, OHS, weighted box step ups (RIP my shin)
What sports or fitness things did you do before CF? Wrestled in high school, played baseball and football as a youngster, and went to an F45 gym right before starting CF
How did you find CF? My wife made me try it when our F45 gym closed their doors
What was your first workout? Strength was deadlifts, metcon was front squats and dubs
What’s your favorite thing about CF? Great coaches and a great community that make working out enjoyable and motivating
What’s something most people don’t know about you? I despise ketchup, literally can’t smell it without gagging
What PRs or accomplishments are you most proud of? 225 hang clean, 325 back squat
What’s on your CF bucket list? Muscle ups and overall mobility improvement
What advice do you have for new (or experienced!) CrossFitters? Attend classes as frequently as you body will allow you, you’ll know when you truly need a rest day. Also pace yourself during the metcons and don’t burn yourself out right in the beginning.
What are your favorite numbers and why? For time-capped metcons I prefer descending rep schemes, and for AMRAPs I prefer more movements with lower rep schemes for each as I enjoy cycling through multiple movements quickly.
